Privacy Policy
Who we are
Tovicast publishes the Tovicast Broadcaster app and keeps the directory of registered workspaces. A workspace is an organisation's live streaming service: it runs its own web console and streaming servers, decides how its service works, and is responsible for its own users and their data.
What the app accesses
- Camera and microphone — only while you are on a workspace console or the beauty settings screen, to show your preview and to broadcast when you choose to go live. Beauty effects are applied on your device.
- Workspace addresses you add, and your stream quality and beauty preferences — stored on your device only.
Where your stream goes
When you go live, the app sends your audio and video directly to the streaming server of the workspace you are connected to. That organisation's privacy policy applies to your stream, your account, chat and any other data on its console. For the Tovicast demo workspace, which needs no account, each test broadcast is relayed by Tovicast in real time to a private watch link and is not recorded.
What Tovicast processes
- Workspace lookups: the workspace address you enter, to check it is registered.
- Technical logs on Tovicast servers, such as IP address, request times and error codes, kept for up to 30 days for security and troubleshooting.
What we do not do
No advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, and no sale of personal data. The app contains no analytics or advertising SDKs.
Your choices
You can revoke camera and microphone access in iOS Settings at any time and remove workspaces in the app. For requests about data processed by Tovicast, contact privacy@tovicast.com.
